Citreitalea is a Gram-negative, strictly aerobic and rod-shaped genus of bacteria from the family of Flavobacteriaceae with one known species (Citreitalea marina).[1][2] Citreitalea marina has been isolated from the marine alga Chondrus ocellatus.[2]
