Giachumi is a settlement in Kiambu which is located in Central Province, Kenya. It is approximately 24 km from the Capital Nairobi. The area experiences a bi-modal type of rainfall. The long rains fall between mid-March and May, followed by a cold season usually with drizzles and frost during June–August and the short rains between mid October–November.[1]
