Douglas Gordon Roberts (30 May 1925 – October 1991) was an English professional footballer who made 113 appearances in the Football League playing as an outside forward for Northampton Town, Brighton & Hove Albion and Accrington Stanley.[1][2][3]
Roberts was born in Foleshill, Warwickshire, in 1925.[2] He worked for many years as a draughtsman for British Timken at Duston, Northamptonshire.[2] He died in Northampton in 1991 at the age of 66.[1]
