Line 13 of the Shenzhen Metro is one of the four new metro lines of the metro's Phase IV expansion under construction in the city of Shenzhen, Guangdong.^[2]^[3] It is expected to be completed and operational in 2024. The first phase of the line will be 23 km (14 mi) long and will use eight car type A trains with a maximum operating speed of 100 km/h (62 mph).^[4]
