Myripristis astakhovi is a species of soldierfish from the genus Myripristis. It is endemic to Nha Trang Bay, Vietnam in the Western Pacific Ocean.[1] It was named in honour of ichthyologist Dmitri Alekseevich Astakhov.[2]
